PJ JACOBSEN

No. 15 XPEL DUCATI PANIGALE V4 R

Patrick "PJ" Jacobsen, born August 7, 1993, in Montgomery, New York, is a distinguished American motorcycle racer with a career spanning national and international championships.

PJ’s racing journey began with early dominance, winning the 2006 USGPRU 125GP National Championship and over 30 amateur national titles. In 2007, he became the only American ever selected for the MotoGP Red Bull Academy, a testament to his early potential. In 2009, he made his 125 GP debut at Indy with the Aspar MotoGP Team. By 2010, he was recognized as American Flattrack Rookie of the Year in the GNC National Championship.

Internationally, PJ achieved podiums and wins across multiple series, including British Superbike podiums, British Supersport wins and podiums, Stock 1000 wins and podiums, and a CEV Spanish Championship podium. He also showcased his endurance racing skill by claiming second place with HRC at the Suzuka 8 Hour, one of the most prestigious races in the world.

PJ’s global success continued in the Supersport World Championship, where he became the first American to claim both a pole position and a race win in 2015 at the Malaysian round, ultimately finishing as World Supersport Vice-Champion that year. In MotoAmerica, he has been a consistent contender, finishing second in the Supersport Championship in 2024 and 2025 with Rahal Ducati Moto, supported by XPEL, and achieving victories in Superbike races, including the 2023 win at Brainerd International Raceway.

In 2026, PJ competes in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship, a first for Rahal Ducati Moto. Riding the XPEL Ducati Panigale V4 R, he brings his experience, versatility, and championship-winning mindset to the team as they aim for success in the top class of American motorcycle racing.
