Patrick "PJ" Jacobsen, born on August 7, 1993, in Montgomery, New York State, is a prominent American motorcycle racer known for his remarkable career in various championships.

PJ's journey into motorcycle racing began with early dominance, as he clinched the 2006 USGPRU 125GP National Championship, showcasing his prowess on the track and accumulating over 30 amateur national titles. In 2012, amidst a fragmented season, Jacobsen secured two major victories, triumphing in the British Superstock 1000 race at Donington Park and the British Supersport Championship round at Assen. His talent and potential were evident, leading to his signing with Tyco Suzuki to compete in the British Superbike Championship in 2013.

Since 2014, PJ has been a consistent force in the Supersport World Championship. Starting with the Kawasaki Intermoto Ponyexpres team, he later switched to CORE Motorsport Thailand on a Honda, making history in August 2015 by becoming the first American to claim both a pole position and a win in the Supersport World Championship during the Malaysian round.
